As Stand In Design Coordinator

Overview

This energy facility is to provide reliable source of heating, cooling, and electricity to Harvard’s Allston Campus. The facility includes a heat-recovery chiller, low-temperature hot water system for efficient heat energy and 7.5 megawatt electricity co-generation system.

Responsibilities

Being the stand in design coordinator for several months, Sai’s major responsibilities for the project included:

  • Producing Revit models for detailed construction designs of cable routings, conduits, electrical equipment and lighting fixture assemblies.

  • Coordinating the design clashes between the architects, structural and civil engineers and other MEP engineers.

  • Assisting the field with pre-fabrication and detailed designs.

  • Surveying the field for accurate as-built designs.
