Overview
This elegantly designed recreation center has been added to the collection of Boston College’s medieval gothic architecture in 2019. Designed by Cannon Design, the 244,000 square feet LEED Certified building stood as one of the most prominent gyms in the center of Boston City. The facility includes fitness center, rock climbing wall, aquatics center, basketball courts, tennis courts, jogging tracks and multi-purpose rooms.

Responsibilities
The construction of this recreation center marked as the first project that Sai worked in his professional field and the first one together with State Electric Corporation. Sai joined the project as the design coordinator and assistant project manager in November 2017.
The major responsibilities during this project included:
Producing Revit models for detailed construction designs of cable routings, conduits, cable trays, electrical equipment and lighting fixture assemblies.
Coordinating the design clashes between the architects, structural and civil engineers and other MEP engineers.
Assisting the project management with document control, design updates and scheduling.
Assisting the field with Trimble points, pre-fabrication and detailed design drawings.
